5-Day Northern Tanzania Wildlife Safari

Day 1 | Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport on 02 April, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to Arusha for a short briefing before driving to Tarangire National Park. After entering the park, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive through the baobab-dotted landscape, famous for large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 | Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you depart Tarangire and begin a scenic drive toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of plains game. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge or tented camp inside Serengeti.

Day 3 | Full Day in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to extensive game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You may choose morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with picnic lunch. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, along with intense predator activity. The endless savannah, dramatic skies, and abundant wildlife make this a highlight of the safari. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 | Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers beautiful scenery and chances to spot wildlife along the way. You will arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge near or on the crater rim.

Day 5 | Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport
Early in the morning, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in this natural wildlife sanctuary, home to the Big Five including the rare black rhino. After exploring the crater floor and enjoying a picnic lunch, you ascend and drive back to Arusha, continuing onward to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your safari.
