2-Day Tarangire and Ngorongoro Fly in from Zanzibar

We will pick you up at your hotel in Zanzibar early morning and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, we will drive you to Tarangire for a full-day game drive Famous for its large elephant population, it is also home to zebra, wildebeests, giraffes, waterbucks, baboons and impalas. Predators include lions, cheetahs and leopards. The swamps are shared by flocks of birds; green wood hoopoes, lovebirds, tallish herons, white-bellied go-away birds and giant kingfishers. On drier ground, you will find the kori bustard and the heaviest of the flying birds, the ostrich. After your game drive, you will drive to Ngare Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will be picked up at your hotel and driven to the Ngorongoro Crater. Today, you will go on a full-day game drive in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 and is one of the only places on earth where mankind and wild animals co-exist in harmony. You will visit a Masai Village in the Ngorongoro Highlands (optional) where you will meet the elders, warriors, women and children and learn about the culture, beliefs and traditions of Tanzania’s last nomadic community. The crater is famous for Africa’s best game viewing as there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. You will spot the endangered black rhinos, wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, elands, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, giant tusked elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, scavengers such as spotted hyenas, jackals and wild dogs Later after the game drive, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
