Day 3: Karatu >> Serengeti Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, where you will have wildlife viewing all day. The Serengeti is famous for its abundance of wild animals, long stretches of gentle grasslands, breathtaking rivers and emerging ecosystems. The seemingly endless grasslands host the famous Great Animal Migration – of the largest mass movement of ungulates on the planet. More than 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all types of antelopes pass through the endless plain in search of food and water every year.
For big cats and large predators, this is the preferred place to watch lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas, with many television scenes such as the famous river crossings being filmed in this park. The entire 2 days are intended to enjoy the beauty of the Serengeti. Serengeti Heritage Camp is open for overnight stays and dinners.
